I did a quiz on Facebook the other day and I came out more of a geek than a friend of mine who I thought was super geeky. We are both programmers but I'm a girl, how can I be a geek? I never knew...

So, yes, I'm a girl and I program. I love programming. Right now I support PeopleSoft, but that's neither here nor there. The syntax may be different but logic is logic.

And yes, I am a hockey mom. 2 kids, both rep hockey players. We travel the province for their games. We have had many, many ups and downs with both of them. Run-ins with bullies - both other kids and other parents. Why do we do this?

And finally, I do play hockey. For fun. I can't be that competitive because I am not that good and then I would be too down on myself. I play pick up with the guys. 2 different groups, 2 different days. I like and dislike each for different reasons. But that's another post...
